Coins in an Exchange vs. a Hardware Wallet

Have you ever wondered why it is not recommended to keep the coins in an Exchange? There are many reasons for that, but most importantly, they are not yours. You are not in control.

In this video I'll walk you through the underlying theory why you should not keep your coins on Kraken, Coinbase, Poloniex or any other exchange.

Keeping them on your computer is better than an exchange. Even better is to keep them in a hardware wallet like Trezor or Ledger.
